We are privileged to be able to open during the current lockdown.
Garden centres have been classed as essential retailers and this is not a responsibility we have taken lightly. It means that our stores at Aldermaston, Weyhill and Hampton-in-Arden all remain open, with the restaurants temporarily closed (see below for an update on when they are reopening).
Your safety, and that of our staff, continues to be of paramount importance to us. With this in mind we continue to provide the safest shopping environment for you at this difficult time.
Please do follow our guidelines when visiting
We ask that you sanitise your hands before entering the store and that you wear a face covering at all times
Please keep your distance from us and each other
Please only handle goods that you intend to buy
Please note that we are only accepting payment by debit/credit card and ask that contactless facility is used where possible.
Re-emerging Safely and Carefully
We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to our restaurants from 12th April 2021, hopefully this time for good!
In line with the previously communicated government pathway, we’re going to be able to only open our small outside covered seating areas and will only be able to accept groups of no more than 6 or two households on any one table. We’ll be providing patio heaters to keep you warm on chilly days but do suggest you wrap up to avoid being cold! We will still ask that all guests continue to wear face coverings and respect safe distancing at all time, only removing face coverings once and only when seated.
Our indoor seating areas will remain closed until at least 17th May 2021.
As we are very limited to the seating space, we have available, we will not be taking table bookings. Instead, we ask guest to remain patient. We will aim to seat you as quickly and as safely as possible. Should our dining area be full, we’ll simply take a contact number from you and call you in turn, as soon as a table becomes available, so that you can enjoy your shopping experience without having to queue.
To help keep our tables turning, we’re also operating a very limited menu, so sadly will not be offering our famous Afternoon Teas until at least May. For those of you that have one of our vouchers from December, please be assured, we’ll honour these during the month of July when, hopefully things will be much safer, and restrictions eased.
To also help with speed and convenience, we’ll be offering our food and drink in takeaway biodegradable packaging only, which means guests can take food & drink away with them should you feel more comfortable doing this. This will also help our teams, who have to walk miles each service! We hope you understand and accept this small compromise. Once we re-open our internal dining area in May, we will return to offering our usual crockery and glassware.
Finally, to keep everyone safe, we’ll only be able to take orders via our Self Ordering App, whilst guests are seated. This means payment using your credit or debit card and, for now, cash will not be accepted.
We’ll continue to keep our “Mozzo To Go” available outside our stores in Weyhill and Aldermaston, so if you’re in a hurry you can still get a treat! And well also provide limited seating outside the stores too to enjoy on sunnier days!
