Like many other ventures Chalice Mead was founded on a dream, a desire to reconnect with nature and to promote ancient mead heritage, bringing it fully into the modern age and, at the same time, supporting the bee populations in the UK and beyond. Mike Wagstaff, the founder, turned his dream into a reality and started a new business venture infusing the Mead with different ingredients such as caramel, nettle, chilli and elderflower to add a modern twist to an old drink.
Claytons Eggs is a local, Hampshire-based farm company that has been supplying the finest, free range eggs across the region and neighbouring counties for over 10 years. Clayton’s fresh eggs are full of flavour, coming from well-kept, nurtured chickens who are free to roam across large open fields and fed without using any artificial flavours, colouring or hormones.
COOK was founded in 1997 by Edward Perry and Dale Penfold. Located in Dorset, the Great British Biscotti Company is a small artisan bakery which offers a new and innovative take on the popular biscotti. Hill Farm has been pressing juice since the 1970s as part of a substantial fruit farm supplying apples and pears to supermarkets.
