  • Horticultural Assistants (Part Time – 20 hours per week)

    We are looking for Horticultural Assistants to work in our plant area.

    Required hours are as follows:

    1 person on a Saturday:  9.00 am – 5.00 pm

    1 person on a Sunday:  9.00 am – 5.00 pm

    2 people for 20 hours per week

    Shift Pattern (1): Week 1: Weds & Thurs 9.00 am – 5.30 pm

    Week 2: Weds, Thurs, Sat 9.00 am – 5.30 pm

    Shift Pattern (2): Week 1:  Mon & Tues 9.00 am – 5.30 pm

    Week 2: Mon & Tues 9.00 am – 5.30 pm

    Sunday: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm

    Must have experience of working in a garden centre, together with horticultural knowledge and a genuine interest in plants and horticulture.

    The role of Customer Assistant is a varied role and is a fantastic opportunity for those who love interacting with customers, and can advise and inspire with their passion and knowledge for plants and gardening products.

    The role will also involve heavy lifting and working in all weathers.

  • Customer Assistant – Gifts/Leisure Department (Part Time FTC – 20 hours per week)

    We are looking for two Customer Assistants to join our Gift department on a fixed term contract from 1st September to 31st December to support with our busy Christmas season. Both vacancies will be 20 hours per week and will include some weekend work.

    The role of Customer Assistant will be a varied role and is a fantastic opportunity for those who love interacting with customers along with being hardworking, quick learning and have a passion for the products in our gift/leisure department. You will provide friendly and knowledgeable service to our customers, therefore great customer service skills are a must.

    If you have a passion for great coffee and have previously worked as a Barista then our role could be ideal for you. A large part of your day will be spent making consistently excellent, delicious hot drinks, but you’ll also turn your hand to other tasks.

  • Front of House Waiting Staff (Full Time – 32-40 hours)

    You will be hands-on, with a passion for fresh, local, quality food, and delivering a memorable customer service experience. Our restaurant is table service within 10 minutes of order and is attentive, friendly but informal in style.

  • Chef de Partie (Full Time – 32-40 hours)

    As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for working with the kitchen team and supporting the Sous Chef and the Head Chef in the production of food as directed through the daily shift plan and under the guidance of the senior kitchen personnel.

    You will be responsible for your safety and of those around you and the strict adherence of all Safer Food Better Systems and procedures.

    You must maintain quality and consistency of all food produced in line with specification and recipes, and stick to clear labelling and production procedures.
